History of Falles

The origins of Falles can be traced back to the Middle Ages when artisans would burn their leftover wood during the spring equinox. Traditional Activities

During Falles, the city of Valencia comes alive with parades, music, fireworks, and street parties. One of the main highlights of the festival is the daily mascletà, a daytime fireworks display that culminates in a deafening explosion of firecrackers.

The Fallas
