The Falles Festival is a traditional celebration in Valencia, Spain, dating back to the Middle Ages. It involves the creation and burning of elaborate sculptures made of wood, cardboard, and paper.

Each year, the festival culminates on March 19th, the feast day of Saint Joseph, with the burning of the falles, or sculptures, in a spectacular display of light and fire.
